If you are initiating a test using TestHear and you are seeing this on your screen, it is possible that you are using an older version. It is best to update TestHear to the latest version. To update to the latest version, Pearson Access recommends that you uninstall first the old version prior to installing the latest.

To uninstall, click Start, Control Panel, and then select “Add or Remove Programs”. Scroll down and find TestHear, click it, and then click Uninstall or Remove. If you are prompted if you wish to uninstall, click Yes. Also, if you need to update ePAT, follow the same steps to uninstall ePAT. Once the uninstallation is complete, restart your computer. Download the latest version from Pearson Access Support Downloads.

Before installing TestHear, make sure to check if your system meets the requirements. TestHear supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows 7, and Windows 8. For OS X, it supports OS X 10.4 Tiger, 10.5 Leopard, 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, and 10.8 Mountain Lion.
