             The Linux 4.0 has been released on 12th April 2015.

              The release adds support for live patching kernel code, aimed primarily at fixing security and updates without rebooting: DAX to avoid using kernel when file systems run systems for persistent Kasan, memory error that allows after free out of bounds, lazy time, an alternative which alternatives can cause aches.
