My Yahoo Messenger ID is sending messages without my knowledge

Need help on this guys. My Yahoo Messenger ID is sending messages with links to all my contacts without my knowledge. Sometimes I am not even signed in to Yahoo Messenger but my friends would tell me that they are receiving instant messages from me. Is it possible that my email address was compromised?

My Yahoo Messenger ID is sending messages without my knowledge

Your computer might be infected with worm or virus. All you need to do is to scan your computer with anti virus and free your computer from virus infections. The process of sending image without logging in into your account can be done using worms that was running inside your computer. The worm can save your email information and use it as the sender and send some information or any that may fool a receiver using the saved contacts inside your email.

Intruders can do this too. If some steal your password, they might use your account for sending images especially to persons related to you to ask for something.

You may change the security of your email address right now before it was used by the intruder but before doing this; clean your computer from virus infections.

         Your account was not compromised. 1st opt. You Should try to reinstall your Yahoo Messenger .if you receive some link try to

Create Another Yahoo Messenger  ID ..now if you will not receive some links maybe your Account YM ID you use right now is a spam..
