My Lenovo ideapad z360 is too slow

I find my Lenovo Ideapad Z360 with Core i3 2.27 GHz, 3 GB DDR3 RAM, Intel integrated graphics chipset and Windows 7 64 bit too slow especially when multi-tasking. Other laptops with lower specs seem to perform faster.

Would upgrading to a 4 GB memory speed things up?

Dear Dawn Fraserr,

Your laptop specification seems to be very good but you can enhance its performance by means of installing the latest drivers, especially chipset drivers, which will increase the speed when multi-tasking.

You may also increase your RAM speed which will have a beneficial effect.

Hope this was helpful to you.

Best regards,

Hi Dawn,

Your laptop should do just fine with 3GM of RAM. The weakest point is actually integrated graphic card and there isn't much help. Adding 1GB of RAM won't make any real difference, but you can always try.

Before upgrading your RAM, consider optimizing your OS, just to make sure everything is set up properly and that the problem isn't in a piece of software instead of hardware.

Hi

Dawn Fraserr,

Lenovo laptop with 3GB RAM and Core i3 processor with 2.27 GHz seems to be very good configured.

You have made sure your Lenovo laptop is virus free. Because now a days there many viruses which slow down the speed of the laptop.

Uninstall the application from laptop which are not in use. Because RAM memory will be used by those applications which are running in the background.

And keep your Drivers updated.

You can download the drivers from the following link:

Hope you got some need full.
