My iPhone won’t work in my laptop.

Hi!

I need help to back up my iPhone 4. I was so eager to set up my iPhone 4 so I did it on my friend’s laptop instead of mine. I also used his laptop to back it up. Now, every time I try to back up my iPhone 4 in my computer, it would freeze.

I just need to know if backing up my iPhone 4 in my friend’s laptop is the reason why I couldn’t do it on my own computer.

I also need to know if there’s something I can do about it.

Hallo Barnabi,

I do not think backing up your files from the iPhone to your friend’s laptop could be the reason why the iPhone is freezing when you try to back up the data on your computer. May be during the process of backing up on your friend's laptop, the iPhone was infected with a virus that is slowing it down and making backing up a problem.

So I will suggest that you connect the iPhone with a laptop that has a very strong and updated antivirus and perform a full scan of it to trace any viruses and Trojans on it and eliminate them. Just some heads up, every time you connect your iPhone with a laptop ensure that you scan it before opening the files.
