Hi,

I'm using iPhone 3GS for the last 7 months. Two days ago suddenly when I opened my calculator icon, it was not working. I tried several times, but it freezed; nothing was happening. I tried with restoring, but still it's not working.

I used it very carefully, so no accident had occurred with my iPhone. I don't know what happened.

Please someone help me.

Cheers,

Chris

Hello Christofer,

  • Talk to Apple, which will replace its 3 G within 10 business days. I know 3 g stock could be low but contact directly with Apple could be its best chance to repair your iPhone.
  • They also have a service, which will send you a new phone and send back an old, when you get a new one – will be for example an Exchange program.

Hello,

  • To begin the device again is very easy. He(She) needs Press and button supports the Sleep/Wake during at least 6 seconds, until the red slide(transparency) appears to the power and next, slide the regulator.
  • Keep the Sleep/Wake button touched up to the logotype of white and black Apple it appears. Continue(Follow) and do not begin the device again, if he(she) does not answer and the previous steps do not work. Keep the button touched home and the rest / activation button during 8 to 9 seconds, until there appears the logotype of white and black Apple.

If you tried using the calculator but the phone freezes unexpectedly, try to turn off your phone for about a minute or two and then turn it back on. Use the calculator again and see if it works. If this doesn’t work, try doing a hard reset. First, turn off your phone.

When the phone is completely off, connect the USB cable to the phone and then start iTunes on your computer. Press and hold the “Home” button on your phone then connect the cable to your computer. When iTunes detect your phone in recovery mode, just click “OK.” In iTunes, click “Restore” and then “Restore and Update.” Wait until iTunes is finished restoring your phone.

Performing a hard reset on an Apple iPhone will reset the phone in factory default. This should fix the problem. If this doesn’t work either, I guess it’s time to bring your phone to an Apple service center for proper servicing.
