My ipad4 behaving strangely since last week

Hi all,

I have an iPad4 which was working perfectly fine so far. From last week onwards it was behaving strange.

Sometimes screen gets stuck. If display comes, it will not allow me to open applications and sometimes The apps getting stuck. I have tried to restore this to factory settings and DFU mode, etc., but no luck.

What might be the problem with that? Is this happening because of the display/hardware issue or iOS issue? Can somebody help me resolve this issue please? Thanks in advance for any kind of help!

Hi Bernadine D Kemp,

I am sorry to hear that you are facing these problems. This seems like a software issue, sometimes this is caused by too many apps running in the background. You can stop unnecessary apps by:

1. Holding down the home button until you see the all the hidden apps that are running in the background.

 

2. Tap the red button on each of the apps that you are not currently using. This will close them temporarily.

3. Restart your device by holding the sleep/wake button and home button until you see the apple logo.

 

Start using your device again and enjoy!
