My Acrobat Application Failed To Connect To A DDE Server
When an Acrobat user tries to connect their application to a DDE server, they face a fatal error with a pop-up message that says, “Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.”
The methods to fix the error code are as follows:
Method 1: Restart the Acrobat software.
Step 1: Hold Ctrl, Shift, and Esc to open Control Panel.
Step 2: Find and right-click on the Acrobat application.
Step 3: Click on the End Task option to close the application.
Step 4: Open the application again to check for the error.
