Hi,

This is my first error that I got from MWS and I am stuck with it. I cannot solve it, I can’t get rid of it, I can’t do nothing because of this error. Is anyone available to help fixing this error? Also please tell me how can I prevent this in the future and what is causing it?

Thanks!

Because you are having an “access violation error” when starting Magic Workstation or MWS Play, it is more likely that you have a compatibility issue and it happens, most of the time, when installing MWS Play on Microsoft Windows 7. When this happens, your best option is to install it on a different folder instead of the default folder in “C:Program Files”.

To make sure you are using the latest version, download the installer again from Magic Workstation 0.94f. If you already installed it on your computer, uninstall it, restart your computer, and open the newly downloaded installer. When it prompts you to select the folder where to install MWS Play, select a different folder. See image.

It should work normally once it is installed. To make sure MWS Play runs at full privilege and you won’t get any “access violation” error, run it as administrator. Right-click on MWS Play and select Properties. Select Compatibility tab, under “Privilege level” check “Run this program as an administrator”. Click OK and start MWS Play again.
