Music option not available in device tab (iTunes)

I updated my iPhone 5 to 7.1.1 and I am now having a problem syncing with iTunes. The music option is grayed out under the device tab. I don't want to redownload the songs from the cloud because it will take a lot of time. I tried to uninstall/install iTunes, no luck. Do I need to restore my iPhone? Anyone have any suggestions please?

Music option not available in device tab (iTunes)

Hi Crus, there is a workaround this bug in iOS simply go back to iTunes, sign in once more to your Apple ID,from here the system will initiate a self-diagnostic update, just wait for a few minutes and verify you will now see the missing grey out tab a while ago. It seems like the system made a quick refresh of its own. By next time you log in to the store again, you no longer need to sign in again, unless there will be a new iOS again within this year.
