Hi Christ,

As you have asked about the EOS utility, I assume you are using a Canon camera. The Canon EOS had some compatibility issues with the newer version of Mac Lion OS, but they have come up with an upgrade to their EOS utility and it seems to work fine now. I myself am using it currently and I can confirm this. I prefer the Canon EOS over other alternatives, as they provide regular upgrades and it provides the functionality to operate the camera from your Mac (you have to use the Canon supplied interface cable).
