I need help on modifying a property value for more than one user in AD using a VBS logon script. If anyone out there who can help me, please do so. Making it clear, my question is, how to modify the path to multiple users' directory in Active Directory that will use a VBS logon Script?

Thanks!

Modifying Path in Active Directory

Hi Charlie Smith 96,

To be able to log on the scripts in a domain with active Directory  has a two ways.

  1. On the profile tab you have to specify the log on scripts if you are the User in the Active Directory and you can also choose to log on to a Group Policy.
  2. It depends on your Clients' kinds of Operational system on their computer. If Your client is using Windows 2000 you have to use group Policy and if your client is using windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME Or Windows NT you are going to use the user properties.
  3. You can log on both but if your using Windows 2000 It will both logs in scripts will run.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks,
