First click Start then type dcpromo in the Run dialogue box and press Enter key. Click Next on the Welcome to Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard page. A warning message appears to inform you about the effects of removing a global catalog server if the domain is a global catalogue server. Press ok to proceed. Make no selections on the Delete the domain page and click next.
