My laptop is really slow lately. It even came to a point where it’s really annoying. So then I tried to scan it online for viruses but online scan finds nothing except for some Adware. But when I check the available space on my hard drive it’s just showing me 7GB, I check all files stored on my computer even the application and it showing me 8gb. I am clueless on what is happening on my laptop. Does it have something to do with the free space? Please help!

That is probably a virus that has invaded your system, and to successfully remove it you will need to format the computer to get rid of everything. The virus is the type that replicates itself and occupies space of your computer and it does not show itself among the programs.
Or before you format the machine, get a strongest antivirus and which should updated and install it on your computer and use it to perform a full system scan on your computer to get rid of the virus, The best antiviruses that I will recommend that you try are kaspersky, AVG and bitdefender.

Hello Albert,
Well looking at your situation it sounds like a virus attack. Did you scanned your PC completely along with a Bootscan? Also In your Control Panel in Programs and features just remove the programs which you don't use and see if still the problem continues. If still the problem persists then I would suggest you to download Ccleaner from here- http://www.piriform.com/2008/7/30/ccleaner-v210 and start Ccleaner. Am sure this will solve your problem.
