I am having a mini modem Alcatel One Touch X220, which is working with my PC with Windows XP without any issues. But when I connect the same with my Linux, I am unable to get it connected. I am unable to find the issue, as the modem itself is not recognized, can anyone advise me, on how to overcome this issue.

Hello Youmans,

Check the drivers in your Linux maybe there are drivers that are missing in your Linux which is needed so that your mini modem Alcatel One Touch X220 will function. The second reason is the mini modem Alcatel One Touch X220 is not compatible to the Linux operating system try to check the compatibility of that. For checking missing drivers in your computer right click My Computer, go to properties, click hardware and go to device manager.
