Hi there,

I have an error with the Microsoft Train Simulator game and I when I was trying to play it stopped me. I have reinstalled the game, I did everything that was required and I couldn’t get rid of the error. Can anyone help me to fix this and help me to play this game ? Why is this the only simulator game that gives me an error and the other don’t ?

Thanks !

This is quite an old game to play but if you have Windows XP on your computer, you shouldn’t have a problem. Officially, the game Microsoft Train Simulator, supports Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. I’m sure also you wouldn’t have a problem for the processor because the game can be played on any Pentium processor with 450 MHz speed.

The error you encountered on the game looks like a problem in the installer. If you just downloaded the game then it probably came from a different source and not from its official website. And since the game is really old, I’m sure you won’t find it in Microsoft either. Since there is no problem with your operating system regarding the compatibility, you may try reinstalling the game.

If the game still doesn’t work then there is probably something wrong with the installer and a possible corrupted file is present in the installer. If you still want to play the game, the best way to have the original installer is to purchase it on Amazon: Microsoft Train Simulator.

You can also download it from Old-Games.com: Microsoft Train Simulator.
