The Microsoft Outlook 2007 has a new feature. With this feature, you can automatically delete or archive Outlook emails as soon as they are received in the inbox. Here is how you can do it.

  1. Every email has some aging period in Outlook. You can set the aging period accordingly after which the emails can be archived. This feature is called Auto Archive.
  2. You need to change the AutoArchive settings.
  3. Go to the AutoArchive dialogue box in Outlook. You can set the aging periods for the fields given below.
  4. Drafts, Inbox, Sent Items, Trash, Calendar, Outbox, and Contacts.
