I was trying to open my project which in a Word document but I encountered the error below. I am using Office 2007.
Please help me solve it. I tried repair and it didn’t work. Can someone tell me about Text Recovery conveter?
Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt

Open and repair the file
Open the file with the Text Recovery conveter.
Sometimes when the document gets corrupted or compromised then this type of error occurs suppose while sending or uploading the document the sending or the uploading fails at 99% then this type of error is bound to occur.
The steps for opening and repairing the file are:-
1 > Click on the File menu tab and then click Open.
2 > From the Look in list, click on the drive, folder, or Internet location where the file is contained.
3 > In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
4 > Select the file to recover that had been corrupted.
5 > Click the arrow next to the Open button tab, and at last click Open and Repair.

In the files of type box click recover text from any file and select the document you want to be recovered then click open. Note that after you finished recovering your data make sure to return the setting of your files of type to word document, (.doc or .docx) to avoid any error.
