Microsoft Kinect Beta2 SDK setup; later version already installed

I have installed Microsoft Kinect Beta 2 in my computer but wasn’t able to remove the old one and got this error. So I uninstalled it and install back the new one but I am still having this notice. What’s wrong with this?

Microsoft Kinect 1.0 Beta2 SDK Setup

A later version of Microsoft Kinect 1.0 Beta SDK is already installed.

Hello,

You need to completely remove the software when you are trying to install the latest version of the particular software.

Uninstall everything that you have installed regarding the Microsoft Kinect both the older version and the latest version.

Now, Restart your system and install the latest version of the software.

Hi,

I suggest you to use a registry cleaner after uninstalling the software. I recommend using Ccleaner, its free and safe. Then restart your computer and reinstall it. If it doesn't work, it means you're installing an older version of the software. If that's the case, download the latest version here:
