Last night, I try to connect my scanner to my system. Although, I have not succeeded in that action due to the error code 29. This failure popup whenever I try to do that. What is the significance of this fault?

Methods To Fix The Error Code 29 Device Manager Failure

It is a device manager bug. It usually occurs due to unavailable resources to run an application. This failure indicates to the driver issue. Maybe the driver is not working or not installed on the machine. Outdated driver or corrupt driver also can be the reason.

Method 1: You have to reboot your PC. It is a necessary troubleshooting step for every problem.

Method 2: You can resolve this issue by erasing the CMOS setting. You have to select BIOS setup during the booting process. You can enter in it by pressing F2 or F12 key.

Just select “Erase CMOS Settings” from the BIOS menu.

Method 3: If you want to do it easily, then you can Download Driver Assist. It will check your driver status and install the required drivers.
