Hi. I need help regarding Functional Design. I need some metaphor or words that imply with comparison between two unlike object that has something in common. Please simplify the terms so I can save time on understanding the terms. Thank you.

Metaphor or Words regarding Functional Design

Metaphor can be described in many ways, words and meanings are endless. It has this cognitive linguists that emphasize concept to facilitate the metaphor for better understanding.

When 2 objects collide, we may think that they are miles away in similarity and style but come closer to both of them and dig deeper on how the 2 have the same in common. You will be amazed how metaphor can be map in 2 non-linguistic, it can be in figure of speech, design or in writing.

They are very different in many ways, as writing, speech and designing are in separate dimensions, different style and characteristic but the analogy is the same when metaphor is the subject.

It uses this literary images, figures, story and idea when making an artistic speech, design and writing. Although, it is interpreted in different approached because they 2 are unlike object in comparison but in close insight, they are created in the same context enough to recognize a metaphor.
