Hi,

I'm planning to purchase netbook Fujitsu Lifebook MH 330 with specification Intel Atom N455, 10" LED Display, 1 GB DDR 3 RAM,  250 GB HDD.

The only problem is the operating system its using is MeeGo ( Linux ). I was wondering if I can installed Windows 7 in the netbook and which kind of Windows 7 can be used to install in it ?

I'm not familiar using Meego but since it's the pre-installed operating system I don't want to remove it from the netbook but instead I was thinking of multiple booting was applied to the netbook so it has 2 operating system installed Meego & Windows 7. Should I upgrade the RAM / Memory or do anything in particular so it can be installed Windows 7 ? Can the partition in Meego be recognize in Windows as well so I can save the files in Meego but still can be open in Windows and vice versa.

Looking forward for any suggestions and ideas to actually make it happen will be very much welcome and appreciated. Regards, Larry

Dear Larry,

You should upgrade your RAM from 1 GB to 2 GB because its a basic requirement of Windows 7 and necessary for smoother working of Windows 7.  You can use Meego and Windows 7 dual boot but on separate partitions and Windows 7 professional and ultimate is best. Try to avoid Windows 7 home edition with Meego.

You can save files and share your files from one operating system to another operating system. For ready reference you can see this video :

Meego (Linux) is good operating system and also user friendly and I hope that you will face no problem. Regards, Kate
