Media Player Classic Home Cinema error creating EVR

Hello,

I bought a movie from the Internet and I have this error when I want to open it with Windows Media Player to watch it. My Windows Media Player works just fine because I can open any other files with, but I cannot open this movie. Can anyone help me please to fix this one ?

Media Player Classic Home Cinema error creating EVR

Hello,

Try below solution.

1. Run diagnosis tool for DirectX Diagnostic Tool. To run the diagnosis tool you can follow below steps.

• Click Start in window home screen, type dxdiag in the Search box.
• Check in the windows displayed and check under the DirectX feature whether DirectDraw and​ Direct3D Acceleration are checked. If not, put a checkmark on that

2  If problem remains, Go to the player and in the file menu go to view-Options-> under the playback ->Output, Choose system default in  "DirectShow Video" dropdown.

3.Update hardware drivers or reinstall the media player in case problem persists.
