Mdaemon with Mac client could not connect to Server

I am trying to set up my mdaemon email account on my iMac with quad core i7 and OSx Mountain Lion.  I already have an account but I can't seem to connect to the world client server.  I also installed this on my iPad and I did not encounter any problems.  Anyone having the same problems with mdaemon with Mac client?

Mdaemon with Mac client could not connect to Server

Hi there,

 

Make sure your mail information is set up correctly:

 

Open the Account Information section and check the following:

 

Email address: *your full email address*

incoming mail server: *domain name*

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: *domain name*

Account name field: *your email address*

Password field: *password*

 

Advanced Tab: 

 

Port: 143

Auth: password

SSL: YES

 

 

If that doesn't work you will have to skip the wizard in order to make things working. Delete the created account, open the manual setup and create a new account without the wizard.
