McAfee Endpoint Protection fails to start on mAC

Hi experts,

I have this error on my MAC when I want to start McAfee Endpoint. Until now I didn’t had this error and now I don’t know how to proceed. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? Why it appears ?

McAfee Endpoint Protection fails to start on mAC

This error was also encountered on McAfee VirusScan 9.0 build 644 which runs McAfee Agent 4.0. You will get this error if McAfee Agent 4.0 was upgraded to McAfee Agent 4.0 Patch 2. This is because McAfee Agent 4.0 Patch 2 is incompatible with McAfee VirusScan for Mac 9.0 build 644.

This issue was already fixed in McAfee VirusScan for Mac 9.0 Patch 1 and the recommended solution is to upgrade to the latest version. So in your case, to fix your problem with McAfee Endpoint Protection for Mac, download and upgrade to McAfee Endpoint Protection for Mac 2.1 which was released on October 10, 2013.

It requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, and later.
