McAfee Desktop Firewall error with Terminal Services

Hi there,

This morning McAfee showed up this error message and if I click OK it disappear. After a restart of my PC it appears again. My Windows firewall is disabled so I don’t know why I have this. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? Why I have error with firewall ?

McAfee Desktop Firewall does not fully support remote Terminal Services (TS) nor Fast User Switching (FUS) sessions.

If you are using TS, log on to the Terminal Server directly (not via a remote connection). If you are using FUS, disable it.

You will then be able to manage McAfee Desktop Firewall settings.

McAfee Desktop Firewall error with Terminal Services

Hi Demon, as per your screen capture, the Mac Afee desktop firewall does not support FUS or Fast User Switching mode. As such, it normally means that your firewall may run but won’t secure the current terminal services session. Normally, it supports updates for terminal servers but with these limitations, when a new update is release only one session is designated as the main update session  for restrictions.  Try to troubleshoot your firewall settings. Click twice the Mc Afee anti-virus then click the Navigation on the top right portion of the screen. Now go to Settings and Alerts. Then click the Access protection and uncheck the Use Access Protection then click the Apply button.
