Mac OS x AutoCAD viewer shuts down after black screen

Hi,

I just installed AutoCAD WS Mac OS x AutoCAD viewer for viewing dwg and dxf files on my MacBook Pro. The program just shows a black screen then shuts down. What could be the problem? I have the 15" MacBook Pro with the 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB HDD, 1 GB Nvidia GeForce GT 650M Graphics processor and OSx Mountain Lion.

Mac OS x AutoCAD viewer shuts down after black screen

Greetings,

Some users have reported that AutoCAD won't run on OS X Mountain Lion, although some users say it does. Autodesk announced that a service pack installation is required for Autodesk product support. These service packs also resolve problems in addition to adding support. You can download these SPs here.

You may need to do a complete uninstall / reinstall of the program first.
