I have an apple iphone 3gs. The phone is quite sturdy, well built and have tremendous capabilities when it comes to productivity. But recently I have been thinking about make web cam with iphone via a software. I know the best probable way is to jailbrake the phone but is there any solution that doesn't involve jailbraking?
Hello, I would like to suggest you avoid to use Iphone as web cam. In fact, you can get different software in online. But, you may victim of crashing on software. At the same time, your Iphone may be damaged. So, you can try high qualitative web cam rather use Iphone. It's better for your system also. Best of luck.

Wireless Connection
Webcam application for your iPhone and Computer (you can use Webcamera or iWebcamera Turn your iPhone into a real webcamera)
1. Download and install the webcam application on your iPhone.
2. Go to the webcam application developer's site and download the client application for your computer.
3. Install the client application to your computer. This connects your iPhone to your computer.
4. Done!
Note: You can also use your webcam application such as Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and etc. as your client software.
