I am using Mac OSX Lion and I want to hide the menu bar in full screen. I searched on the internet but not found any single solution about it. Apple should have an option to hide the menu because some time it creates very difficulties for the users. If you know any solution, then please tell me.
Try a program called Nocturne. It provides the option to hide the menu and other options.

I know this has been a known issue for older version of Mac but the only way to solve this is to upgrade/update your OS X version.
My Mac is running on OSX Mountain Lion and I get no issues about hiding my menu bar anything. Updating your OS X Lion or any other version to Mountain Lion is very easy. All you need to do is go to Apple's website and download the update, you can also do this by clicking the "Apple" sign on your menu bar and choose "Software Update".
