Lotus notes functionality as a workflow application

When you see the term Lotus Notes what comes to your mind? I thought Lotus Notes is an operating system but I am told it is more than this. Is Lotus notes a database, a server or an operating system? In that it has SQL Server, Access, Visual Basics and llS all wrapped up together help me get it's clear functionality as it is a powerful workflow application.

Lotus notes functionality as a workflow application

Hi…

Lotus note is one of the things that very difficult to say what is it exactly. Actually it is a database with lot of inters connected and magnificent applications. It is not a normal database such as MySQL database. It was well organized and well inter related database.

Actually it has lots of front end behaviors. It supports most of the programming languages. Actually it cannot be compare to the one of applications we can found. Special l thing is it is capable of performing the work of more than one application at ones.

It also has many servers support to accomplish the work that it doing well.
