Hi. Before you learn how to stop getting spam e-mail, you need to check if it is spam or not. To do so, first, check who the spam mail is from. After checking, look out for links to ensure that the mail is from a trusted source or not. Then, check the spelling of the link and ensure that it not written in a bizarre way. Read the message and look out for any misleading prizes and claims. Check that the attachments are not any malware or virus. To prevent these spams, over the internet, your e-mail address should not be mentioned. Then, ensure that the e-mail of yours cannot be scanned and also keep in mind that the username which you have selected is not the same as your e-mail address.
You can also try making a single account and then different account for all the other purposes. To successfully disable getting any spams, make sure that you do not reply to the spam which you have previously received because that way you will only end up generating more spams. You can also use options in Gmail such as reporting and block the spam e-mails. The spams can be blocked in Yahoo mail as well.
