Lotus notes 8.5 compatibility with Xenapp 4.5

Does anyone feel fulfilled in deploying the Lotus Notes 8.5 or 8.5.1 on XenApp 4.5 or 5.0? Even though I know that the Notes were only supported on XenApp 4.5, I still don’t feel the satisfaction in our test lab. Right now I am using the Windows 2003 x86 w/SP2,XenApp 4.5 RP3.

Lotus notes 8.5 compatibility with Xenapp 4.5

I am supposing the new version should be much better, and by better I mean in its look and feel, and also it should be able to run much faster compared to the XenApp 4.5. Some of the features that have been incorporated in the newest version include the composite applications, and not forgetting the xpages, and this make the application offer much better functionality as compared to its predecessor.

But just like lotus notes 8.5, the full versions of the XenApp are required for it to work properly. Therefore if you are using the trial versions you may not get the best functionality from them. You may get success as well as some drawbacks when using the application.
