Hi techie people,
My computer is running on Windows Vista 32 bit and has a Virtual DJ software installed on it, but every time I try to load the VirtualDJ Deck on my computer I am seeing this error message:
I tried different kinds of music formats already, but it still ends up with the same error message. This dialog box also pops up when I am going to play video files as well.
I really need some help. Any kind of ideas and steps on how to solve my issue is highly appreciated.

Decompressing this file in memory would require 44Mb of contiguous      Â
memory.      Â
Your system has only a total of 147Mb available free segments (out of       Â
the 2047Mb), and they are too fragmented to hold a contiguous buffer.      Â
      Â
Therefore, the song will be loaded on-the-fly from the drive (and the      Â
full waveform preview will not be available).      Â

Loading Virtual DJ Software will Produce Error
If the application thinks that the remaining available RAM memory of the computer is heavily fragmented, maybe this is because there are also other active applications that are opened besides VirtualDJ. If you are simultaneously using another application with VirtualDJ, try closing the other window then restart VirtualDJ.
If this doesn’t work, close the application then restart your computer. When Windows finished booting, open VirtualDJ. Don’t open any other application besides VirtualDJ. If this doesn’t work, try this:
-
Open Windows Task Manager by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESCAPE.
-
Click Processes tab.
-
Click on the programs that you think you are not using. Be very careful not to close other programs that are essential to Windows. Click only those you are familiar with.
-
Click End Process button.
Do this one at a time. Then restart VirtualDJ. If still nothing happened and the problem is still the same, try installing Dr. Salman’s Window Power Tools. It has a RAM defragmenter which can defragment the remaining available RAM and will surely help. You can download it.
