Is limewire free or not?

I've been looking for software that will help me download music, movies and games. Thus, my friend told me about limewire and I installed it. I thought it was free then why am I being asked to pay? Give me some answers please. Thanks!

Is limewire free or not?

Yes, the program of Limewire is free including your access to it and downloading.

However, if you have accidentally accessed a secondary company who have fees on their programs, then they will ask you to pay. The fee will be for the program of this secondary company and not that of Limewire.

Also, Limewire has a  strict policy in sharing files. If you are caught sharing works with copyright, then you can be sure to receive a court order and you will be asked to pay a certain amount.

Is limewire free or not?

Hello Lisette,

Limewire is definitely a free app. However it was already discontinued after a long court battle for piracy.

There are websites that allow you to rent/stream movies. They have titles ranging from classic to the newest one.

Here are the websites:

Netflix Watch TV shows movies anytime, anywhere

You may also download iTunes on your computer and rent/purchase movies, music within the software.

Payplay.FM lets you purchase and download your music to your computer.

They have all the genres that might cater to your taste.

Is limewire free or not?

Hi,

Limewire is under court order and you may have a hard accessing your site. Let’s forget the legal grounds for this. Instead, you may want to try iTunes.

You can also download here your music, movies and games. Of course, not all are free as you need to pay for some. If you use an Apple Computer, iPad or iPod, there are some freebies you can download.
