Library Not Loaded Error in MS Word

I am facing an error when launching MS Word. It failed and crashed with error

“Library not loaded: @rpath/mbukernel.framework/Versions/14/mbukernel

Referenced from: /Applications/Microsoft Word.app/Contents/MacOS/Microsoft Word

Reason: image not found.”

I tried to remove the suite and re-install it back but it did not help me resolve the issue. Please help me.

Library Not Loaded Error in MS Word

 

Hi. I have searched the web and came up with the following solutions. Hope that these will help you to overcome your problem.

Solution 1:

Check that whether your “Microsoft Word.app” file is in “/Applications/Microsoft Office 2011” folder. If its not in there it will be in “/Applications” folder. Drag this file into the above location. Then try to run the application again. Your application will run. This is a common mistake in mac OP.

Solution 2:

 Try to uninstall any previous version of MS Office and then install again. Reinstalling might help solving the problem.
