I am using Windows Vista on my computer. I was trying to open Windows Defender when this error popped up windows defender error code 0x800705b4 suddenly. What should I do to resolve this now? Please help.

Method 1:
Try to disable any antivirus or firewall installed on your system for some time. The antivirus can stop Windows Defender from running, hence producing this error. After disabling them, open Windows Defender and check if the problem persists. If Defender is still not starting, follow the steps in method 2.
Method 2:
- Type “run” in the search box that appears when you click on start button, then type “services.msc” in the “open” search box,and press Enter.
- In the window that appears, navigate to Windows Defender service in the list.
3. Ensure that the Service is running. If not,
right click on the Windows Defender service and then select Start.
4 Now, restart your computer.
