Hi,

I have a query regarding shrink volume in windows 7. I am using Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop.

Does someone know how to do this?

First, open the Disk Management window by typing Msc into the command prompt with run as administrator mode.
In Disk Management box, right-click the volume that you wish to shrink, and then select Shrink Volume.
In the Shrink dialog box, input the amount of space by which you want to shrink the disk.
Select Shrink.
