Hi. I am not very knowledgeable about the various files and formats which exist for opening the files. I need to open anOST file but don’t know how. How to open a OST file? Please reply ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Hi. To learn how to open a OST file in Outlook 2013 or 2016, first create the .OST file. Next, open the file in account settings or in the control panel mail. Next, remove the account from the profile and click on new. Type the username and password to enable Outlook to find the information of your account. Then, change the account settings and click on next. Click on more settings and then select the Outlook data file settings from the advanced menu.
Then, browse the OST file and click on open. If a new OST file is to be created, you can also browse to the new location, create a new file, give it a name and open it as well. Click on OK and restart Outlook.
