Hi. Before you begin the installation, you need to know about the service activation date which states that you cannot connect post 2pm, contact the monitoring service provider for instructions, account information, installation kit including cables, filters and gateways and Wi-Fi name and password on the other side of the gateway. To learn how to connect U-verse Internet, connect the filters and cables by connecting the green data cable on the gateway, yellow Ethernet cable from the port on the gateway to the PC, one end of the phone cable to the gateway, to the power port of the gateway connect the black power adapter following which plug the cord into the electrical outlet.
Then, to register and activate the account, enter the telephone number, account number, pass code, member Id and password and security questions and answers. Then, connect to the Wi-Fi network by opening the wireless network settings; select the Wi-Fi network name from the list and then enter the 10-digit Wi-Fi password. The gateway will turn green once connected.
