How To Connect Two Routers

Hi. To learn how to connect two routers, out of the two routers, determine the one which is of prime importance to you that is which one is connected to the modem. Then, identify the router which is secondary that is, the older router which will control the secondary network. While the configuration is going on, keep the routers near the computer. Then, choose among the LAN to LAN and LAN to WAN connection. Connect the primary router to the modem and then the computer to the router through Ethernet. The DHCP settings need to be set to default if you are creating a LAN to LAN network and between 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.50 if you are setting up a LAN to WAN network.

After the configuration is done, remove the router from the computer. Disable the UPnP option if at all it exists on the router. Then, configure the DHCP server on the secondary router. Change the primary router to channels 1-6 and the secondary router to channel 11. Connect the two routers using an Ethernet cable.

Hope we helped.
