This new cooler indeed sounds more interesting the other products of this category, especially that unique heat pipe layout. Is there anyone who can explain the reason for this different shaping of the heat pipe of this product? Thanks in advance for a logical technical answer.

Dear Quincy Nowell,

Gemin II M4 is especially designed to fit small format cases. It’s heat pipes dimensions is 6mm. In order to provide better cooling performance, the heat sink is designed in such a way that the four heat pipes are slightly flattened and also held in direct contact with the CPU allowing for first heat dissipation. These heat pipes are standard U shaped pipes laid on their side and these conduct heat away from the heat sink to the radiator.
