Te laptop I am currently using does not produce any sound. What could be the problem? I think the speakers are spoilt after I listened to some sounds that are high pitched from you tube. What is the solution to this?

The following are the possibilities:
1) You may have accidently disabled the sound driver .
2) May be the volume is set on mute.
3) Use headphones, if the headphones are working properly, then surely the speakers of the laptop are damaged.
4) May be the sound card burnt out.

Your laptop is not producing sounds most probably because your soundcard has been damaged. Have you checked using external speakers for this? If it worked with external speakers, then it is a hardware issue. You need to have this checked with a professional technician because it could be your soundcard that has a problem or the speakers or the motherboard. It could also be that you were fixing your files and you have accidentally deleted the soundcard driver. You can check your drivers as well.
