Hi,

I have a Windows 7 PC, 64bit with 4GB or RAM. Recently I downloaded KMPlayer from the internet and installed it on my machine. When I try to install the download, it gives me this error saying:

“KMPlayer.exe – Bad image. C:Windowssystem32URL.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error”.

I Went on to the website again and re-downloaded the install two times and I get the same error. Not sure why it says bad image. Anyone here please help. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

KMPlayer.exe – Bad image

C:Windowssystem32URL.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Hi Graciela,
The error is because some of the system files are corrupted.
To resolve this error follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Click 'Start' button, select 'All Programs', click 'Accessories'
2) In the 'Accessories' menu, right click 'command prompt'
3) From the menu options, select 'Run as administrator' option
4) In the command prompt window, type 'sfc/scannow', press enter
5) The system will begin to scan for files present in the system
6) All the corrupted files will be removed from the system after the scan is completed
7) Close the command prompt and restart the system
8) the error will not appear in the system for the user
