Just This Server Configuration For Hundreds Of Joomla Sites?

Hello,

According to one of my friend, a dedicated server with these features can handle hundreds of Joomla sites with low to medium traffic. Is it possible? (Site having a few hundred hits a month, ecommerce and some a bit 'heavier).

CPU AMD X2 4850th (@ 2.5 GHz Dual Core)
RAM 4 GB
Disc 2 x 500 GB
Network Map 100 Mbit Bandwidth 100 Mbit
Miscellaneous Managed Firewall / Format / Reset / Recovery, also connected to 120 Gbit Backbone, 99.9% Uptime.

Obviously it will be configured specifically for Joomla, apache, linux distro, suPHP or similar, etc.. What would be your suggestion?

According to your friend recommendation you are doing the right thing. Without any doubt your performing PC is work at good level.

See at the instruction: If your CPU 2.8 GHz or more it will be increase hurry about gather your traffic. RAM will be good space as your system.though you are configured more Joomla, apache, linux  distro, suPHP and more then it notify that mashada, blackbay, cheaty, mashada, blackbay, also would like to configured. for your better placement.

And  added search Engine System. Continuing your posts about recent collection. Edit system you have kept running. Select some PR 1/2/3 sites to run besides.
