Joomla Installation Screen hangs !!!!

I use hosting account as Ipage. com. I am trying to install Joomla 1.7. After selecting language when I press next the screen hangs and doesn't proceed anymore.

I’m not sure if this is an incompatibility problem because it just freezes in the middle of the installation process. This is not common to incompatibility issues. You might want to check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit or Norton SystemWorks.

Any errors in the hard drive’s file system can cause problems to applications making them work much differently. It also causes installations to go wrong and will end you up in an incomplete installation of the software.

Hi

For installation  you  should make your computer as a local server. For  that reason you can  run  Apache / mysquel   in your computer. But  these two programme found in a integrated  form. XAMPP  is such kinds of software. Again  Apache2triad  is another software like that . You can use  anyone of them. For installation process you can go through the site.
