Jave education games (.jar) not loading properly in Nokia C7?

Since my children are so fond of playing games on mobile I thought of downloading some java educational games on my Nokia C7.

However some of the games are just not loading (I downloaded the .jar file).

Since I am not very informed about java can somebody help me?

Hello

This may happen because of either of two reasons. First is that the downloaded ,jar file was not downloaded properly because of which it had been corrupted.

Second may be that the .jar file was not supported by the phone.

The course of action would be to download the file again. If it still doesn't work then the game is not supported by your phone.

Hi Gwen,

As advised in the previous comment, the java file might have been corrupted or there was an unreported error during the download process. Your phone definitely supports java and you do not need to worry about that. Other file formats supported include .jad file. 

You should also ensure that you download your applications from trusted sites
