Concurrent programs need to be executed daily and sometimes at the same time. You cannot do it manually as a lot of problems will arise, and there are high chances of delay. Two people may run the same application or at the same time. This is the major reason that concurrent manager is required so programs can run concurrently without creating any problems. The installation of Oracle comes with default concurrent manager. It does not only works on concurrent execution but also schedules the job periodically.

There are various types of a concurrent manager such as standard manager, conflict resolution manager, and internal concurrent manager.

The issue that concurrent manager not starting is a usual problem if this problem arises, you need to check your concurrent manager log files. as all the information related to the concurrent manager is stored in its log file.
