Hello,

I am having this issue while I have installed root certain Internet Explorer using Microsoft Certificate Server in Win2003 but got this annoying error message. How can I avoid this issue without having any issue. I extremely need your assistance to fix this issue ASAP. Please suggest me with a proper solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hallo Lindsey,

You will need the check what Root CA you are using. In the event that the root cert is not installed in IE you will receive this error. You will therefore need to use Microsoft Certificate Server. Use the Certsrv function in Win2003 and Then download and install the Cert in IE. Look for the MS support site for installing a cert in IE. That should solve the problem.

The error could also occur if the Thawte Server CA certificate was renewed and upgraded to Premium by the CA vendor for the Citrix MetaFrame servers. To resolve it, you will need to download ThawteRoot.crt from Citrix MetaFrame XP Farm @ SLAC and then lace it under /usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts.
