Internet modem sharing with another computer

I am using windows XP professional operating system with service pack 2.

I have a internet modem.

Can I share my internet connection with my another computer via LAN card if yes tell me the details how can I do that?

Internet modem sharing with another computer

Yes you can do it by doing the following:

Solution 1:

Buy a router that supports a USB Modem as the source of the internet connection. It is very easy to setup with the use of the CD guide provided together with the device. You will not face any problem installing the router except that if its a factory defect. And also try asking someone if you need assistance.

Solution 2:

Now you can use the wireless LAN card to enable a WiFi Hotspot but this will only share an internet to a WiFi Device but still you might want to use this because where you are going to share is the WiFi devices in your house.
