Hi,
Subsequently the installed content was vanished and was replaced by a standard error message.
Need your help to solve this.

It is recommended to update it as it is a default web browser for adding an additional features to the system and to keep the Firefox stable even when attack from other things like websites.

First check your Network settings whether the connection is established or not because if the connection is not established then it is not possible for updating.

Also empty the cache memory as sometimes it may be the reason for getting some errors like you got and also the site access may be restrict able sometimes so we get these type of errors.
